Raising Money for Research

Over an estimated 200,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. Chances are that you or a loved one knows someone that has been affected by this disease, either directly or indirectly. As a women’s group, The Porch Club is committed to doing our part to make a difference by hosting this event to raise funds for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, a leader in funding research to battle breast cancer. The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is the only breast cancer organization to receive an A+ by Charity Navigator. Currently, 91 cents of every dollar spent by BCRF is directed towards breast cancer research and awareness programs, including funding to local research facilities here in the Philadelphia region.
